Aviation has always been a passion of mine.  I love airplanes and the far away places they can go.  I earned a private pilot’s license at a young age, but my goal of flying – and traveling – as an occupation, fell by the wayside.
So my wanderlust and desire to fly had to be quenched by my own travels.
As my excursions began taking me longer and longer distances, I realized that at a certain point, price and my tolerance to squeeze into an economy sized seat for long periods of time, were going to become impediments to my travels.
So I looked for options that would ease either, or both.
And I found the hobby of Miles and Points.
Not only does the hobby allow me to fly for next to nothing, but, if I want, I can use those miles to travel in business, or even first class.  Something that not only my wallet, but my long legs greatly appreciate.
And upon arrival at my destination, hotel points allow me to stay for free in accommodations for which I would almost never consider paying.
The whole Miles and Points thing sounded too good to be true when I first got involved.  But after a significant amount of time learning the process, I only wish I had gotten involved much sooner.
And that’s why I’ve started Financially Savvy Travel.  As a way to spread the word, and provide guidance to those whose curiosity has been piqued.
Travel is expensive, but it doesn’t have to be.  Utilizing just a few of the Miles and Points strategies I’ll provide will save significantly on your travel costs.
So what are you waiting for?!  Jump on board, the world awaits.
